2018 in Review

2017 a pictorial year in review

January 2018 Preparation for Spring youth outreach with Drama and Dance ministry starts early.
A cross still standing amongst the chaos of debris… as clean up of properties and lives continues after the storm Hurricane Harvey in 2017. We arrived in the U.P. The day the hurricane hit shore in Texas fall of 2017 . We ministered , taught and shared in small groups Saturday and Sunday nights to get closer to God and Holy Spirit . Then back to Texas to roll up our sleeves like everybody else to help others . In these end times there will be more frequent earthquakes and unusual storms as the Bible predicts. Jesus invites us to build our lives on the rock of truth found in the Word of God .

February- The month of love – we teach at “His Church” how to have healthy relationships including how to enjoy success being single . God is the author of love . “Agape love” ( characteristic of the Christian Faith ) is the unselfish love God has for us .
A General , the evangelist Billy Graham graduated to heaven . Billy brought many to Christ and leaves a legacy behind. His once rebellious son Franklin Graham , continues the missions work of Samaritans Purse bringing aid to many every year.

March 2018 – From Austin to Dallas with family, Michigan , Chicago for Economic Leadership
training and back to the U.P. For its beauty and ministry to people.

April 2018 – Preparation met opportunity in an early Easter on the calendar!  Through the dramas at Family Faith Church ,Willis (and 3 other locations ) thousands were fed, many drew closer to God, and hundreds accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

God’s love and forgiveness through Christ exceeds anything we have done.

The Rodeo circuit comes through Texas in spring . This is in Huntsville Texas .

Jesus is the miracle worker – even today.
Believe and ask – and keep on believing . He loves us where we are.

May – May brings graduation or advancing to the “next grade” for many.

Celebrating milestones and achievements of, and with, others is a joy we all can embrace.

Can’t forget Mothers Day ! Thanks to ALL the mom’s  – past, present, future – We ❤️U !

We should all be thankful for “ moms” or the ones who took on the role and responsibility!

Alena’s end of the month Birthday was welcomed with a large party with family and some long time “good” friendships celebrated.

June – A sweet 16 for Faith brought many friends including The Hogle’s ( Buck ministered at Spring Breakthrough 2017 in L’Anse , and the entire family came to enjoy the UP in the summer)

Faith’s sweet 16 party also came with a surprise of the canine kind ! Sophie

Fathers Day 2018 was like no. other in the area with record rain/ flooding in Houghton which resulted in costly damage , and the end of a life. Bridges out, roads closed, I still made it to Houghton before News Media and realized the devastation as it was just unfolding .

This reminds us of a parable of the “ wise man builds his house ( life) on the rock of Jesus Christ and Bible principles / teachings .

Ground water from rainfall makes its way to a Lake Superior.
